Treasure Island

Treasure Island

Gypsy Theater Company presents Treasure Island

Based on the masterful adventure novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, Treasure Island is a stunning swashbuckling tale of skullduggery upon the high seas. The action launches from the Admiral Benbow Inn, where Jim Hawkins, a young boy who longs for adventure, falls heir to a treasure map. He soon sails with his masters to seek the treasure island and his fortune. Along the way we encounter a host of legendary swashbucklers including the dangerous Billy Bones, the sinister two-timing Israel Hands, the brassy woman pirate Anne Bonney, the hideous form of Blind Pew, and the infamous Long John Silver–perhaps the most famous hero-villain of all time. Silver is an unscrupulous buccaneer-rogue whose greedy quest for gold, coupled with his affection for Jim, cannot help but win the heart of every soul who has ever longed for romance, treasure and adventure.

Appropriate for pirates from age 8 to 108 (due to some scary pirates!)
